Crypto, blockchain and real assets explained

Crypto is a broad term for digital assets that use cryptography and blockchain systems. Coins and tokens can have different functions and rights; a blockchain record does not by itself prove the existence, custody or value of a physical asset.

Coins, tokens and blockchain

A coin generally belongs to its own blockchain, while a token is issued on an existing network. A wallet manages access credentials; protect private keys and recovery phrases, and verify the network and contract before a transaction.

What does real asset tokenization mean?

Tokenization represents specified rights or information through a digital token. For a real asset claim, check the legal agreement, custodian, independent evidence and any redemption process. A digital representation and legal ownership are different questions.

How to evaluate a crypto project

Review the issuer, published contract, supply, allocation, release schedule and security reports. Check which claims are independently verified. Liquidity, exchange listings and future returns should never be assumed.
